“Like Moses parting the Red Sea”

November 17, 2011

Charlie Ayers, former Google’s first chef told an interesting story to Kym McNicholas from Forbes when Steve Jobs visited his restaurant:

“He (Steve Jobs) would show up later than that, and the restaurant was packed, he would walked in and it would be like Moses parting the Red Sea. People would moving out there like that was his table, and people would respectively get up, when he would see his table was occupied, he would go sit and relax. People knew, and they were like “I’ll move”. But he was a humble person in terms of that, he didn’t asked people to move or anything, he waited.”

Watch the short interview at Forbes website, it’s only 1:35 long.
