Doesn’t matter which one

December 23, 2011

It has been quite a debate on the real reason why CES 2012 will be the last time for Microsoft to join the huge electronic event, on their official announcement Microsoft said they’re leaving CES, while CES side said they’re kicking out Microsoft after next year.

MG Siegler put everything together in his post, and it’s pretty clear view on each sides:

Is it possible both sides came to those conclusions independently? I suppose. But let’s be realistic, that rarely happens. And if you read their statements carefully, they actually don’t suggest that at all.

Personally, I don’t think it matter which one is right. For Microsoft not to be in CES anymore is good for both sides, and if they can’t kiss and make up for the good bye then it’s a good show for us to watch.
