An analyst walked into Best Buy…

And just like every funny story that starts with a line like that, it gets more hilarious, here’s according Joe Weisenthal:

‘Showrooming’ is the growing phenomenon of shoppers using physical real world stores (like Best Buy) to check out products that they end up buying online.

Usually the traditional retailers (like Best Buy) always had the cheaper price tag than on-line retailers (like Amazon), because they could sell directly to consumers and don’t have to worry with shipping fees, the sales rep could even add small discounts for incentive. How this went the other way around is what those traditional retailers should really be worried about.
